Saw The Promise last night with Mar (violentmarmar), David (chef_gouki) and Stefan (stefan_). Awesome film. It is indeed a visual feast for the eyes with lively colors and awesome camera work. CG is used, but it seems minimal. The action was fast and furious as well. This is the stuff that made me truly think of the Hong Kong films of old.
